Revolutionary Innovations & River Roots are film production companies founded by long time friends and pro kayakers Rush Sturges and Tyler Bradt.  Moving forward from the success of their award winning adventure action sports documentary Africa Revolutions Tour, Rush’s Young Gun Production series and Tyler’s Oil and Water Project., their newest production Dream Result showcases kayaking at the current height of its progression.

In the world of whitewater kayaking Tyler and Rush have earned reputations as some of the top innovators in the industry through both their paddling and film-making. Tyler’s recent 186-ft World Record Waterfall Descent of Palouse Falls has been seen by millions around the world and generated unsurpassed media attention for kayaking with coverage by CNN, National Geographic, Sports Illustrated and more. Rush is also a prominent athlete: four-time USA Freestyle Kayak Team Member, World Champion, expedition kayaker, big waterfall pioneer, and the only kayaker in the world to complete a front flip off a waterfall. Together they create the prefect team to create the “Dream Result”.

Rush Sturges
AKA “Fire Starter” “Babushka” “Fox”
Rush is known for his sometimes pretty good kayaking abilities and hip hop skills. Also an established film maker, he has somehow managed to produce 7 films despite being one of the more unorganized editors in the industry. With a great carnage reel, marginal business sense, and a small following of teenage girls, Rush’s actions on and off the water can sometimes be deemed questionable.

Tyler Bradt
Tyler is known for his good looks, humor and decent kayaking skills. International journeys in exotic locations have been the backdrop of Tyler’s life and given him a lifestyle which leads from one adventure to the next.  Focused on major expeditions, extreme kayaking and having a damn good time, his resume, if it existed, would contain adventures which have lead him from Alaska to Argentina, throughout the African continent and around the globe exploring the untouched corners of the planet. The Oil and Water Project, Africa Revolutions Tour, two World Record Waterfall Descents, countless international paddling expeditions and OR show party winner for nine consecutive years are just the beginning of what Tyler hopes to accomplish.

Evan Garcia
Evan Garcia aka ‘Young Stout Master’ spends his time neglecting all of the responsibilities of a traditional lifestyle. He has cast aside education and steady income to peruse his ‘lay’n teats’ and ‘huck’n stouts’ way of life. Evident in his paddling style Evan has quietly risen to the top of the paddling world without any desire of recognition, money or notoriety. If there is rain in the forecast and gas in the tank Evan will have a smile on his face and a paddle in his hands.

Ian Garcia
The eldest of the Garcia brothers, Ian has done anything but set a good example for his younger siblings. The true definition of a ‘dirt bag kayaker’ Ian enjoys washing away his hangover by falling off waterfalls. While rarely having anything intelligent to say he has accomplished one thing in his life, the “don’t think just do it” philosophy. Watch Ian’s waterfall talent put to test in Dream Result including the descent of the 109 ft tall Natural Bridge Falls near his home in Montana.

Steve Fisher
Steve might be older but he is anything but soft. His performance in Dream Result has inspired the younger boys to sign up weekly hot yoga sessions just to keep up. A legend of kayaking, Steve is one of the only founding pioneers of the sport who continues to go large and command respect in every aspect of the sport. Steve makes Brett Favre look like a pussy and Chuck Norris cry for his mama.

Lane Jacobs
The boys call him ‘Gravey’, his mom calls him ‘honey buns’, his dad made him promise years ago not to run a waterfall over 40 ft. Gravey charms the ladies with a bleach white smile outlining two perfect rows of teeth but its not the smile that the boys see on the river, it’s the snarl which has also given him the name Raw Dog. He has a savage put his head down and charge style of paddling. Deep in British Colombia or on his back yard run RD makes anyone paddling with him feel like a puppy with his willingness the charge into some of the biggest most committing whitewater on the planet. Comfortable where no man should be, Gravey has a blow out performance in Dream Result.

Patrick Camblin
AKA The Wolf, Polar Bear.
Patrick Camblin is the CEO and Team Manager of Tribe. No one knows exactly what Tribe is, but they know that it’s related to kayaking somehow. He has created one of the more questionable business models, refusing to try to make money and instead concentrating on creating content. All the products on his site read as “sold out” due to high demand, however there is little to no evidence to support this.

Ben Marr
AKA The Hedgehog
Ben Marr came into his own this year, generating a new generation of fans who have clung to his beautiful mullet and overall disregard for seriousness. Hailing from Eastern Canada, Ben has shown the world that he is ahead of the game by being probably one of the best big wave riders. Although he currently has almost no sponsors, he does have a girlfriend named “Wolf Pig” which is pretty sweet. He has also been known to burn all of his close for no reason.

Ben Brown
Ben is the kiwi representative for the Dream Result movie. Respected as much for his pie eating abilities as his river skills, Ben earned the name Porky after a new pie shop tragically opened near his home in Auckland. He has never been the same since… In fairness Ben has always been in fit condition, but somehow this name has stuck. Watch Ben in Dream Result stomping some epic drops in Iceland.
